Only in-progress projects will be recreated in the new Vital platform during the onboarding process. Therefore, it's crucial to review and update project statuses. To clean your project data, follow the steps below.
Key
- Cancel = Client cancelled the service
- Suspend = Client has put the service on hold
- Close = Service (project) is complete
Follow the steps below to review projects with no activity:
- Run the following searches to identify projects where all tasks are 'Not Started':
- Once you have identified a project that needs to be closed, hold down the 'ctrl' key on your keyboard and click on the project name. This will open a new tab.
- Navigate to the new tab and click on "View" to access the project.
- Finally, click on the appropriate button to cancel, suspend, or close the project.
- Repeat the above process for each project.
To review all in-progress projects, follow the below steps:
- Run search PWX | Project List - All projects
- Ensure that the status filter is set to "In Progress". Refer to the image below for guidance.
- Once you have identified a project that needs to be closed, click on "View" to access it.
- Review any in-progress cases or tasks and ensure that everything is actioned.
- Finally, click on the appropriate button to cancel, suspend, or close the project.
Review project assignment

During the onboarding process, active technician accounts in NetSuite will be used to create Technician users in Vital and assign jobs to them. Therefore, it's crucial to review and update technician assignments for all projects to ensure accurate job assignments in the new platform.
To ensure projects are assigned to active technicians (or left unassigned), follow these steps:
- Run search PWX | Regular Projects - In Progress with Tech
- If you need to re-assign technicians, follow these steps.
