Send Service Reports from Mobile App

Learn to send the service report directly from the mobile app after the service is complete. 


Note:

You need to enable this per technician. To do that see: Enable Tech to send the Service Report

19 STEPS

1. Welcome to the tutorial on how to send the service report from the nextservice mobile app

2. In the mobile app, the Tech would complete the job as usual.

When ready, Click Contacts

3. This will bring up a subtab. Click Service Report Recipient

4. Click the Contact dropdown. This will show all contacts, select one.

5. Click Save (green tick) to add them as a service report recipient.

6. This will take you back to the recipient summary screen.

To add more recipients, Click Add (plus icon).

7. You can manually add (or override) details, by typing the Name and Email

8. Click Save (green tick).

9. This will take you back to the summary screen, where all Recipients will be listed.

Continue to add recipients as needed

10. Navigate back to the menu items

11. To send the service report, navigate to the last tab, Send Service Report. 

You can see on the screen that the tab is greyed out, so unavailable. This tab will only be available when the task is completed.

12. Click Complete

13. Click Send Service Report, as it is now available

14. Click Click here to send

15. The text will update to let you know its Sending the service report

16. Once completed, the text will update to Service Report Sent

17. Click back to complete other tasks. That's it.

18. Back in NetSuite, you can verify the email has sent.
To do this, navigate to the Case record.

Under Communication > Messages, you can see the email sent to both recipients.

19. That's it! You're done.
