Up to the end of August all Franchise Partners who have migrated to the new system have been set up with van-level inventory. However, feedback from users who are currently live indicates that learning the new systems while simultaneously implementing van-level inventory management is cumbersome, time-consuming, and often leads to the process being altered or not fully adopted.

Moving to a "Hybrid Approach"

The Evolution team, in collaboration with a working group of Franchise Partners and Operations, has reviewed our current approach. We’ve confirmed that the best strategy for now is to implement a Hybrid approach during the initial migration. This means starting with an intermediate setup and transitioning to advanced configuration over time.

The Setup Will Be:

• Store/s or Main Hub
• Warehouse (if applicable)
• Service Outlet: All vans/vehicles will be pointed to this outlet.

Making your transition to the Evo Platform simpler

This approach allows you and your staff the opportunity to learn the new systems and adapt the necessary processes within your business, while still maintaining visibility over stock and the ability to report revenue sales via Xero tracking categories. At the same time, it reduces the complexity of managing individual van inventory during this steep learning curve.

When will we move to van level inventory?

It is expected that all Franchise Partners utilising this Hybrid setup will transition to individual van-level inventory for increased visibility and insights in due course.
