Instructions for accessing reports in the Windcave Portal. These reports can be run daily or monthly and will help you reconcile settlement amounts you have received from Windcave to your bank account.
Standard Settlement Voidless Report
This report will list all successful payments that have been settled to your account. There will be two different totals, one for ecom and one for eftpos. If you add the two totals up for a specific day, it should equal the amount that was settled to your bank account.
To run the Standard Settlement Voidless report:
1. Go to https://sec.windcave.com/
2. Log into the Windcave portal using the Reporting credentials
IMPORTANT: Your login credentials for reporting can be found on the email you received from activations@windcave.com and the email will look similar to the email you see below.
Scroll down to the section in the email for "portal online reporting", as shown below.
IMPORTANT: If you do not know the password, please click the forgot password link in the above email and set a new password. Then try logging in with your new password.
Once logged into the portal, you can continue on with the following steps:
3. On the left-hand side, click on the Reports
4. Under Matching Reports, click the Generate section, then click on Standard Settlement Voidless
5. Filter the dates as desired and click Add
6. Hit the Refresh button.
7. Select the report under the Ready Reports section and then click Download
The report will show the entirety of what Windcave will be sending to your bank account. You need to add the ecom and eftpos totals together to get total amount that was settled to your bank account. You can use this information to reconcile your accounts against undeposited funds in Xero, Lightspeed or Vital.
If the results of the report are empty but a payment has been made it means the user is not using the correct login to view the reports in the Windcave portal. Please contact support@windcave.com
