Windcave | Lightspeed down

If Lightspeed is down, there are a few alternative ways to take payment.  


Option 1

1. Make a note of the sale (items purchases, customers, date/time, payment method)

2. Take payment via the terminal directly without using Lightspeed. Note: MANPAN needs to be enabled on the Windcave account. Guide: https://windcave.com/Document/EFTPOSClientGuide_3_0.pdf

3. When Lightspeed is back up, enter the sales and take payment via 'other'. 

4. When reconciling Windcave settlement report to the Lightspeed report, Windcave will be Other.  


Option 2

Please process the credit card payment on behalf of the customer by following the Windcave payment process in Xero:
  1. Navigate to the invoice in Xero. 
  2. Click "Print PDF."
  3. In the PDF file, select "View and pay online now."
  4. Click the "Pay with Windcave" button.
  5. Input the customer's credit card details and hit "Submit."
