If your Windcave terminal is unresponsive, please follow the steps in this guide.
Step 1: reset terminal
- To Reset the terminal press the CLR and FUNCT buttons at the same time until it beeps (possibly the green and yellow buttons) while the terminal is on in the cradle. When it resets, the reading on the pin pad should come back to EFTPOS or WINDCAVE.
- If the above does not resolve the issue, a modem reset may be required, or unplugging the terminal and re-plugging it back in.
(there is a cord at the bottom of the pin pad).
Step 2: notify Windcave

In the meantime, use the Windcave payline
- Go to Windcave
- From the dashboard select transactions > purchase
- Follow the screen below with the customer’s details
