1. Welcome to the tutorial on how to give an employee NextService mobile app access
2. The first step is to open NetSuite and click into the global search bar
3. Type the employees name.
Click Edit when the employee record appears.
4. Tick Support Rep [For NextService]
5. Tick Project Resource [For NextService & Projects]
6. Scroll down and click NextService
7. Tick NextService Mobile User.
You will see that the four fields under Primary Information are now mandatory.
8. Consider the other mobile app options. Tick any that the technician will not need access to.
9. Click into Location Email and type the email address.
We recommend that this be the generic business email, as this is what replies to sent service reports will be directed to.
10. Select the Employee Location, this is where stock will be fulfilled from.
11. Select the Employee Warehouse, this should be the same as the employee location field.
12. Select the Region from the dropdown
13. Optionally, select any relevant NextService Skills
14. Click Access
15. Click manually assign or change password
16. Type the chosen password in the Password field.
Ensuring it meets the password criteria outlined on the right.
17. Re-type the password in the Confirm Password field
18. Click Save.
You will need to contact the Technician to let them know their password.
19. That's it. You're done.
