1. Welcome to the tutorial on creating or adding a new Task (service) in the NextService Mobile App
2. The first step is to open the NextService Mobile App.
3. Click the task
4. The technician would Start the service
5. Scroll down and click the Add New Task tab
6. Select the type of service that best reflects the requirement
7. Insert a message or any details on why the new task is being created or scheduled.
8. Click the assignee drop down
9. The tech can leave the task assigned to themselves, which is the default. Alternatively, they can select Assignee to leave the task unassigned.
10. Select a date for the task
11. Optionally, you can tick Confirmed Booking if the client has confirmed the service.
12. Click the save icon (green tick) to create the task in NetSuite
13. When the task has been successfully created in NetSuite, a task number will appear.
14. Click the back icon to return to the other available tabs
15. If you need to create another task, click the add new task tab again
16. Click the plus icon and repeat the previous steps.
That's it, for the mobile app. The following steps will go over accessing the new task in NetSuite.
17. There is two easy ways to locate the newly created task in NetSuite.
The first is to run PWX | Tasks - added via the Mobile App
18. You will see the task listed.
19. If you do not see it, you may have to adjust the filters.
20. The second way is to navigate to the Case record where the task was created from
21. Scroll down and you will see the task listed under NextService and then Tasks.
22. That's it. You're done.
