1. Welcome to the tutorial on how to create a quote from the NextService mobile app
2. The first step is to open the NextService Mobile App
3. Click the relevant task
4. The technician would start the service
5. Scroll and click the Quote tab
6. Click the plus icon to add items
7. Select the items to be quoted
8. Click the plus icon to add additional items
9. Click the back icon if no additional items need to be added
10. You will see the items listed.
If required, click an item to amend or remove it.
11. Optionally, you can enter a PO number
12. Optionally, add a memo. This field is client facing and appears on the quote sent to the client.
13. Click the save icon (green tick)
14. You will see a syncing cloud appear. This means that the quote is being created in NetSuite.
15. If the quote successfully created in NetSuite, the syncing cloud will disappear and a document reference number will appear in the header.
16. All item amounts and a quote total will also appear on successful creation.
17. Click the back icon to return to the other available tabs.
That's it for the mobile app. The following steps go over accessing the quote in NetSuite.
18. In NetSuite, you can locate the quote in three different locations.
The first is to navigate to the Case record
19. The quote will be linked under the NextService Transaction.
20. The second is to navigate to the Client record
21. Scroll down and click Sales
22. Scroll down and you will see the quote listed under transactions.
If you do not see it, please look over the filters selected.
23. The third option is to navigate to the Project record
24. Click Related Records
25. Click Transactions
26. Scroll down and you will see the quote listed.
If you do not see it, please look over the filters selected.
27. That's it. You're done.
