Lightspeed | How to install the Scanner app

This guide will help you install and use the Lightspeed Scanner app effectively.


Key features of the Scanner app

  • Conduct both full and partial inventory counts from anywhere in-store.
  • Allow multiple team members to count items at the same time.
  • Create and manage purchase orders by scanning items to order or receive.
  • Use your mobile device to create, pick, and send stock transfers.


How to download the app

  1. Open your phone and visit the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).
  2. Search for “Lightspeed Scanner (X)”.
  3. Download the app using the links below


How to set up the app

  1. Once installed, open the app.
  2. Enter your store name in the format: country + subsidiary prefix (lowercase!) (e.g., "aupsc"). Find your store name here or in your Lightspeed store URL (see below)
  3. Press Sign In and then enter your email address and password to log in.

Now you're ready to manage inventory directly from your mobile device!
