1. Welcome to the tutorial on how to Add % Promotion on an Item in Lightspeed

2. The first step is to click Catalog.

3. Click Promotions

4. Click Add promotion

5. Input Promotion Name.

6. Input Promotion Description.

7. Select which outlet you want this promotion to be applied to.

8. Click One-time Promotion.

9. Select Date range for the promotion.

10. Scroll down and click Basic

11. Click Percentage sign.

12. Input percentage discount number.

13. Click Specific to add specific item you want to have a discount to.

14. Scroll down and click Add a filter.

15. Search for the item you want the discount to be applied to.

16. Make sure the tag is "Included".

18. Scroll down and click Available to everyone.

To ensure the promotion applies correctly:

  1. Add the discounted product or customer to the sell screen.
  2. Confirm that the discount appears in the transactions summary.
