LightSpeed - How to add and remove cash from Drawer

Throughout the day you may need to add or remove cash from the cash drawer. It's important to record cash movement to monitor for inaccurate counting or theft, and you can even leave a note to record the reason for the cash movement.

1. Welcome to the tutorial on how to Add or Remove Cash in Drawer

2. The first step is to click Cash management.

3. Click Remove if you want to remove a Cash from the drawer.

4. Select Cash out for tip outs or safe drops.

Step 4 image

5. Select Petty cash out  if use cash from the cash drawer for store expenses.

6. Type in the amount you plan to remove.

7. Add in Note reason for the cash removal.

8. Click Remove Cash.

9. Click Add cash if you want to add cash in drawer.

10. Select Cash in if you want to add cash in drawer like adding a float amount.

11. Select Petty cash in if you removed petty cash and now need to add it back to the cash drawer.

12. Type in the amount you plan to add.

13. Add in Note reason for the cash additional.

14. Click Add Cash
