This guide outlines the process for creating a Price Book in Lightspeed.
Steps to create a Price Book
- Navigate to Catalog > Price books in LightSpeed
- Click Add Price book
- Enter the Price Book Settings
Name: Enter a recognisable name for your price book.
Customer group: Select the group(s) of customers the pricing applies to.
Click the drop-down to select one or more customer groups.
A price book can be assigned to multiple customer groups.
Outlet: Select the store(s) and service outlet(s) where the pricing will apply.
Click the drop-down to select the outlets.
A price books can be assigned to multiple outlets.
Valid from: Enter the start date for your pricing or sale. Leave this field blank to start immediately.
Valid to: Enter the end date for your pricing or sale. The sale will run up to, but not including, this date. Leave this field blank for an ongoing application.
Click the Save Price book button to finalise the settings.
