Navigating the refreshed Vital platform sanitizer selection when conducting a water test.
You may have noticed a change in the process of performing water tests using the refreshed Vital Platform. This is related to the platform's new requirement of selecting a sanitizer, which was not previously needed in the old system. Shown in the image below.
The limited sanitizing options in this dropdown are due to certain sanitizers being incompatible for testing with spin machines. For example, the machine/disc cannot test for Ozone.
To assist with adapting to the new process, we have provided a table below that outlines which pool sanitizer and disc type combinations require specific disc sanitizers for accurate results. With this information, you'll be able to select the correct sanitizer in the refreshed Vital Platform and obtain the results you need. Remember that while the new system may take some getting used to, it is designed to help you better manage your pool records and provide superior service to your clients.
