Creating a new Xero account
Please submit a ticket to the Evolution team to advise that you require a new Xero account and we can guide your through the setup process to ensure it's correctly setup.
Migrating Xero payroll from existing to new Xero account
If a new Xero account is required, there may be a need to transition payroll from an existing Xero account to the new Xero account.
Suggested Options for when to move Payroll:
Move Payroll around conversion or Go-Live Date: Transition payroll data to the new Xero account during the NetSuite migration go-live date.
Move Payroll when convenient in the future: Transition payroll data to the new Xero account at a convenient time after the go-live date.
Move Payroll at the end of the financial year: Transition payroll data to the new Xero account at the end of the financial year to simplify financial reporting.
Actions required in the new xero account to move payroll:
1. Setup Payroll Settings:
Configure payroll settings including earnings, leave, super funds, pay calendar, etc.
2. Setup Employees:
Enter employee information including opening earnings, tax, super, leave, etc. balances.
Payroll move process:
1. Coordinate and complete between 2 Pay Cycles:
The payroll move process must be coordinated and completed between two pay cycles to ensure a smooth transition.
2. Payment for Two Xero Files:
- This means that you will need to pay for two Xero files while both accounts are active during the transition period.
