Data Migration | Criteria for merging pools and contacts

This article explains what records will not be merged during the data migration from NetSuite to Vital  


Pooltrackr will not merge contacts

(1) if the email address is different or

(2) if the phone number is different or

(3) if the address is different or

(4) if the pool address is different


Pooltrackr will not merge pools 
(1) if the difference in volume is too large or
(2) if the sanitiser is different or
(3) if the surface is different or
(4) if the type is different or
(5) if the pool address is different but attached to the same client


However, based on the migrations of the first five pilot sites, it was observed that most (if not all) pools of current jobs were also in Vital. Therefore, to assist with the data migration, please make sure the NXS assets align with Vital on the above criteria. 


Tip on how to align NXS to Vital: 

Export the current pools (or contacts) from Vital. 

Make sure volume, sanitiser, surface and type fields are filled. 

Go to NetSuite: FieldService > Asset > Asset and set the view to 'default'

Export this list to Excel. 

Create a vlookup to add the Vital data to the NXS data. 

Send the file to evolution@poolwerx.com.au to be uploaded into NetSuite.
